(1) Fiorenza Cedolins: new body=no voice!!!

Soprano Fiorenza Cedolins in the latest Trovatore production in Barcelona (December 2009).
Listen to her producing the two most horrifying cabalettas: she's looking gorgeous, but she has almost lost her voice...the timbre is acid, the volume has thinned, her coloratura is imprecise and her musical taste has gone back to the pre-Tebaldi era! We want real sopranos with real voices, not supermodels of the world!

I heard her in Barcelona on December the 30th. She was even worst than here, poor voice, bad sound and very imprecise. A noisy claque screamed "brava" at the end of any disappointing aria or cabaletta. Poor singer, once so promising. The bad taste thriumphed in this Leonora.

Pues a mi me gusta bastante, esta claro que no tiene la voz que tenia antes pero bien, yo fuí hace dos dias a ver el ensayo de la boheme en bcn y ella y Arteta fueron las mejores de la noche,ya que Ramon Vargas desafinó un poco, me esperé que me firmaran los cantantes y la Cedolins fué la más sumpática y cariñosa.

@lamusicahera I hate fat people and their voices. With few exceptions their tone isn`t pure and they can`t act. Probably she will gain in a few years her breath support back. It`s healthy to be a normal size person.. not skinny. Being fat doesn`t help your voice at all. The breath support yes, but you can look good and have a great voice even when not being fat.
