The Universe has been expanding since the Big Bang, says astrophysicist Alexey Vikhlinin of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and the Space Research Institute. The mystery is why it has been expanding with acceleration recently.

@Antidote54 The koran is full of false claims as well. The problem is that Muslims cherrypick the few rare verses that don't contradict with known science and interpret them in a way that is consistent with modern science discoveries.

The Koran is also incapable to predict anything new simply because the language is so vague that it can be interpreted in a 1000 ways. Its kind of like Nostradameses ramblings.
