Marcin Dylla: "Sonata Giocosa" 1st Movement J. Rodrigo GFA 1

Part 1 of Marcin Dylla's performance for the 2005 Guitar Foundation of America Competition in Oberlin, Ohio. Marcin performs the first movement from "Sonata Giocosa" by Joaquin Rodrigo entitled: "Allegro Moderato."

Marcin has won well over a dozen major international competitions. He was edged out this time by Canadian Jerome Ducharme, who's performance is also posted here.

He's a really nice guy too! He stayed around after a recital of his at some guitar festival at Loyola Marymount and he signed programs and took pictures and answered questions. Super nice guy.

WOWOWOW! damn good! He didn't win, but won a couple years after. The guy who did win blew the Hetu piece apart.
