Great customer service is knowing what customers want and understanding how to best communicate with them. Years ago, Waste Management, Inc. communicated with its customers through call centers. Yet, in recent years communication options have opened up so customer service can be dealt with through a variety of channels. To get there, business transformation through IT is key.
