Shari lives with her horses in the beautiful New Forest, England and works helping problem horses and teaching horse-human harmony.
In this video, Shari gently asks her black arab stallion, Whitetail, to lay down without use of ropes or force. He then gets up with her on his back and they demonstrate invisible reins.

That is right, Shari. Be gentle, caressing, sweet, and appreciative and he will wrap around your little finger and love to please you, hate to displease you, and you get your way. Variations of these principles work on guys too but the reward may be different than a carrot.
Horses have strong backs to ride on. Guys often have strong shoulders for you to ride on. When I was thirty-two a cute seven year old charmed me into being her shoulder-ridden pony.
