The Movie Experience of yesteryear is long gone. We now pay 10 bucks to watch TV ads, junk trailers of junk movies and then we are accused of being pirates by the MPAA that wouldn't know a good movie if it bit them in the ass. LEAVE A COMMENT WITH YOUR OPINION.

  • When I asked about why TV ads now, I was told by the theater management it was a source of revenue since the studios take most of the profit of the movies. And yet they complain. Did you know I also heard the studios get 80 cents on the dollar for DVD's too!!! They suck.

  • This is so true. I can count on watching no less than 30 minutes of ads from the advertised showtime until the movie starts in most theaters. There's one theater I've been to that doesn't show any ads and just a couple of previews before the movie, and the movie starts at the advertised time, but it costs a couple of dollars more to get in there.
