Thank you for this video!
Hi, great vids. The 1st vid to last vid differs ~ 2yrs, is the house complete? Also, why did the owner choose wood? Seems inefficient and costly. I like rammed earth.

@MonkeySpecs301 With codes and regulations, existing supply infrastructure and business models, wood framing is still the most affordable option. Rammed Earth is an expensive way to go here. Very few rammed earth contractors.
Yes, the house was completed some time ago. I have many videos that I still need to edit and publish. My apologies to those who have subscribed in anticipation of more videos. I will try to get more posted in a timely manner.

HI FROM NEW ZEALAND.
GR8T SET OF MOVIES...VERY INFORMATIVE.
MAY I ASK U IF THE TERM 2 X 4 IS TRU TO MEANING OR IS DIMENSIONS SMALLER?, HERE IN NEW ZEALAND WE ARE FORCED TO USE 75MM x 50MM IN PLACE OF YOUR 2 x 4 , WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BILD A HOUSE FROM SCRATCH AND WE HAVE TO USE CRAP MATERIALS LIKE NEAR UNTREATED PINE.... IE;PINUS RADIATA (WHITE PINE).
DO U GUYS PREFER METRIC OR IMPERIAL (U.S MEASUREMENTS)?.
THE GOVT STANDARDS HERE ARE REAL GAY

@conmanumber1 Thanks,
Our 2x4 is also actually 1 1/2" x 3 1/2". We still use inches in residential construction, particularly in framing. Most of us grew up using inches with metric being just an afterthough class.
Govt standards everywhere eventually get burdensome. Too many politicians with nothing to do but write new laws governing things they know nothing about. Cheers back at ya Carl, hope life in NZ is grand, it sure looks like a beautiful place.
