YES it is. $30 is nothing compared to clean oil. we are talking about particles 1/3rd the size of a blood cell. NO PAPER FILTER will ever get down that low & still allow the required amount of oil to flow freely. this thing by itslef is better than any filter out there, because it specifically focuses & intensifies the magnetic field inside the filter to be stronger than normal. The thing works all day every day until you take it off. BELIEVE ME!!!

Friend, I do have some question if you know the answer and don't mind answering. Wouldn't the paper/fabric filter inside the oil filter unit catch most of that shavings anyways, 90% at the least? Also after using this device do you notice a lighter color used oil in your changing or you don't have to change oil as frequent? Do you strongly believe this thing is worth the money?
