@cxoph The Book of The Wars of the Lord are not in the Bible yet Moses teaches from it. The Book of Jasher is mentioned in The Old Testament but is not in the Bible. The Books of Nathan and Gad are not there either. What of The book of The Lord spoken of by Isaiah. All imortant to the prophets, are they false doctrine too?

If God commanded you to do something would you do it? What if it was hard? What if others would ridicule you for it? Joseph only did polygamy because God commanded it. As a true prophet he had no alternative. As for us worshiping Joseph, Joseph said the Atonment of Jesus Christ is the gospel all other principles are apendages to it. Joseph was a wronged man over and over yet hate was foreign to him! He did not know it. He lived for his love for Christ. He died for love of his friends and Chirst.

@DefendingMormonism yeah but those are all characters in a book, i know you can do it guys. i mean i've heard of star wars nerds getting into those movies but seriously mormons are some hardcore fantasy fans

Can i just say one thing: Joseph smith had 33 wives (this alone is indefensible). One was 14, and most were wives taken from other men. If you ask me, this man is not very Christ-like. Also, Smith's first and favorite wife (the one who helped transcribe the gold plates) left the church after he died, hmm..
This is in addition to writing the "Book of Mormon", in which nothing can be proven and much can be falsified. Sorry LDS friends, you are very kind, but i think you are very misguided.

@teahouse100 Would you care to also talk about Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and all the other Prophets of God in the Old Testament who were commanded by God to practice polygamy? Do you or I understand the practice? No, of course not, especially if you are a Westerner born in the 20th century. To us, the practice is odd at best and looks to be the product of lust or power gone bad.
However, as I've stated in this video, I know Joseph to be who he claimed to be. You can know that, too, God willing.
