the original tribes games were years ahead of their time. so many other shooters borrowed concepts and ideas from it. when you start playing these games, it doesn't matter who you are, you're gonna suck. the learning curve is more of a cliff, and it takes loads of practice to climb it. google 'tribes next' to have a go at t2 and figure out what scripts you need to play comfortably, and although it will be much harder, you will become a better player in ascend.
