Sounds like a corrupt government, but I'm sure they'd clean their act up a lot with a different crop----yeah right. Blame it on a renewable/natural resource that is literally on most of you right at this moment?? Don't blame it on cotton (at 58 cents a pound??) Blame it on people.

Wait a second, you are going to say that cotton is the only reason for the drying up of the Aral Sea? Any person in Academia knows the importance of multiple causation. You can't ignore global warming. This is absurd.

Try listening properly for a change. The report states that irrigation for cotton is the "primary" reason, not the only reason.

corrupted government, very greedy. abuse its own pple to gain its profit from cotton. some more no technic how to get rid of the pesticides used, causing damage to its people health.
