@hotdutchmatty actually players that wrestle instead of fight get chirped pretty hard in the NHL. Its OK after like 30 seconds or so of fighting but when it happends in the beginning its not too classy.

@MrSchennsational Mostly a matter of opinion. There's nothing in the hockey "code" that says takedowns aren't classy. Sure, fans don't like them because they're not as exciting as seeing players throwing bombs. But if a player wants the fight to end and doesn't feel like turtling then he goes for the takedown.
