I actually did see it on Broadway (twice....so what, I liked it). While the Tony winning score is the real star of the show, the Broadway stage set had to be seen to be believed. A couple of numbers involving up to 4 decks of the ship at one time, all on top of one another, with singing cast members on each. And wouldnt think they could realistically sink the Titanic on a stage? Well....they did! A stunning visual effect.
Personally, I think they ought to bring it to Las Vegas.

Its so weird seeing this set. I did it in high school and we had an actual ship like on the broadway version. But I will say that the choral director for the show did a fantastic job. Still gives me chills when i hear it.
