When everything in the whole world just seems horrible, one often looks back and think of that one person who was there, always there, and meant so much. That person usually isn't there anymore by the time you get this picture of life; they're gone and, because of that, part of you is gone too.

I moved 3 states away from my fiance a few months ago. I would call him every night at exactly 10:27 and sing this to him. The manager at his work always let him answer and listen to me even when they were busy. We broke up 3 months ago....i still cant get used to it. I still want to sing this him. Im supposed to be moving back to that town to live with a friend and if i see him im gonna sing it....things will never be the same without him...RMK </3

According to an interview, up until the end of 2006, the band was known as Embers Fade. Nixon stated that "Our drummer's girlfriend, Ashley Hanley, passed away in October of 2006. She was a best friend of the rest of the band, and we wanted to do something to somewhat honor her. She used to take pictures for our band, hence 'framing'. Naming our band Framing Hanley... that means so much to us." this song was written as a tribute to her
