Remember the good old days at Abbey National?

Abbey became a subsidiary of Banco Santander Central Hispano in 2004. This takeover had many negative results:

1. Under investment in a (now) crumbling & archaic IT infrastructure.

2. Development of an operating system/CRM being forced through by Grupo Santander which is unfit-for-purpose.

3. Loss of key back-office and IT support functions through on-going mass redundancies.

4. Highly pressurised 'performance agreement plans'

5. Poor staff morale.

I would like to point out that this isn't a "rant" or whinge! * Anyone who views this video should also take a look at www.jobvent.com.* Read for yourself the comments of current/former employees. Particular note should be made of latter experiences under the ownership/management of Grupo Santander.
