Mrs. Smith: *Walks into the class room.* Where is he going?
Nick: *Shrugs and looks down.*
Mrs. Smith: *Sighs.* There's no getting through to him.
Nick: *Thinks.*

Joe: *Walks up to his house, about to open the door.*
Mr. Jonas: *Slams open the door.* Your late again!
Joe: I hate detention!
Mr. Jonas: Detention lasted 15 minutes? I doubt that.
Joe: I lef--
Mr. Jonas: I'm done with your excuses. Its not even a pleasure living with you anymore.
Joe: It was NEVER a pleasure living with you.
Mr. Jonas: I'm glad you feel that way. *Throws a bag at him.* Were kicking you out.
Joe: *Eyes widen.* WHAT?! Where am I gonna live?
Mr. Jonas: That's not my problem anymore.
Joe: Where's mom? *Tries to look behind him.*
Mrs. Jonas: *Has her arms crossed, looking down.*
Mr. Jonas: She agrees with me. Maybe this is what you need to get your life started off right.
Joe: By kicking me out! I don't have any money.. A job..
Mr. Jonas: Here's 500$ *Hands it too him.* That should last you food wise until you get a job.
Joe: *Puts it in his pocket.* Id say thanks, but I'm not gonna. *Walks away. Heads toward the park and sits on a bench. Sighs.* Great. *Puts his bag on the bench and lays down, putting his head on it, looking up at the sky.*
Demi: *Walks up to him.* Babe? What are you doing here?
Joe: *Looks at her.* Um, I'm bored.
Demi: What's in the bag?
Joe: School crap.
Demi: That's pretty big for the school crap you don't have.
Joe: Look I'm not in the mood Demi, just leave.
Demi: That's what I wanted to talk about. I can't go out with you anymore Joe, your to.. Depressed and controlling all the time.. Sorry.
Joe: *Sighs.* Whatever.
Demi: And you don't even care about me.. *Walks away.*
Joe: *Sighs and closes his eyes.*
~ The next day at school
Joe: *Walks in late, soaking wet cause of the rain.*
Nick: *Looks at him, eyes widen than looks back down.*
Mrs. Smith: Joseph.. Where have you been?
Joe: I uh, had to walk to school today.. Sorry..
Mrs. Smith: You have another detention cause you walked out yesterday.
Joe: *Sits down.* What ever. *Puts his head down.*
Mrs. Smith: *Sighs.*
~Lunch
Nick's P.O.V
I stared over at Joe's table as I sat with Miley and Selena. He had his head down on the table, he looks really tired and he doesn't look like he got any sleep last night. He said his life is worst than mine. How could I know that if I don't know what's going on with him. I need to find out. I don't care if he hates me.
~After school around 5.
Nick's P.O.V
I started walking through the park to Joe's house, I wondered what he was gonna say when he saw me standing at the door. I was half was through the park when I saw him laying on a bench. I walked over confused.
Nick: Joe?
Joe: *Opens his eyes. Sighs.* What now fag?
Nick: *Sits down next to him.* I need to tell you something.
Joe: And your sure its ME you want to tell this too.
Nick: You think I have it so much easier than you. You don't know the half of it. You can ask out any girl you want and most likely get a yes. I don't know 1 other gay guy in our school. I'm ALWAYS alone. Even if you liked Demi or not, you still could get her. People think I'm just gonna hit on them cause I'm gay. EVERYONE thinks I'm a freak cause I like guys, and I have to hide being hurt every day just so they don't make fun of me more. Do you know how hard that is?! If I could meet ONE guy that understands, I would be so happy. But no, I just get called a fag everywhere I go. Your so right Joe, I do have it easy. *Stands up and starts to walk away.*
Joe: *Sits up.* Wait.,.
