  • I haven't got any words, I feel like running away from Russia right away, there is no future here, no quality of life, nothing has been done for people, just greed, greed and greed. Government says "It's all ok" while in reality it is getting harder and harder to live. Anyone who is trying to do anything good, goes to prison.

Officials in the government just go there to steal, rob, grab money ...grab as much as they can and then f...k off abroad and buy property there. Disgusting.

  • @kleonchik absolutely dumb opinion. i really disagree with you, this man tried to make free Russia. free of corruption, with normal goverment, with strong opposition. this MAN has told: "I want to live in normal country. but here". this was the man who believed, that rules of the game is possible to change. not some day, but NOW. he was the best buisnessman in the Russia, and he still is, because he was fair and brave. and THAT is the real reason, why he is in prision. STAY STRONG MIKHAIL!!!

  • I don't understand how a man who speaks against corruption yet get imprisoned for corruption. If he was corrupt you would think he would fly under the radar and makes his money like the "mafia" he is... Hope you will get your justice Mr Khodorkovsky.

  • Looks like the KGB is still running things over there..

  • I just took a job to design a logo for a foundation to free Khodorkovsky, so I looked him up online to findout who he is. If the things presented in this video to be fact are true than it really doesn't need the overly dramatic music. This is a very convincing video on its own, but when I hear this music, it makes me feel like I'm being manipulated. I will beleave it or not on my own but don't insult my intelligence.

  • @jwsyt2 my pleasure ;) It's always good to double-check the data that you bring as an argument. If you have any questions or concerns about Russia feel free to contact me, I'm always open for discussions :)

  • @Guzzardo80 OK Guzzardo. many thanks for clarifying and for the information. Much appreciated best wishes to you

  • @jwsyt2 First of all, Donetsk is not Russia, it's Ukraine. When you hear someone from former Soviet republic talking about salary, it usually means MONTHLY income. I guess $250/month sounds quite credible, but still is considered a very low income even in Ukraine.

Russia has one of the highest living standards among other CIS states. I gave you the figures in my first comment - average annual income is $7200, poverty level is $2400, 14% of population live below poverty level (as of mid 2011).

  • @Guzzardo80 I know people in Donetsk Oblast & other areas who live on 250 dollars per year. If I am wrong, then excuse me & please give correct information. What is the average ANNUAL income for a working person in Russia? What is it for the average family? What are these averages for the CIS states together? Does Russian Federation have a higher income? I have read that 66% of Russians live below the poverty level- correct? What is considered poverty level? Many thanks 2 U for your assistance!

  • @jwsyt2 don't tell me about Russian province, because I am the on who lives there. And not in one of the biggest cities either. I know how people live and I do know what I'm talking about. You are obviously wrong with your 'dollar a day' figure, someone must have deceived you.

  • JUSTICE! The Great hero khodorkovsky! He wants justice. He did nothing wrong. All he did was steal, from the drunken hands of Yelstin, 10% of the world's oil from the Russian people-while 2/3rds of Russians live in poverty. Russia has become like an African nation thanks to a few people like him. What would be the correct "justice" for a criminal as great as this?.
