a demonstration of my atom project and how it spins.
My atom was oxygen.
Nucleus- consisted of wooden balls with drilled out holes painted in red and blue held together by quick dry super glue.

Electrons- orange painted wooden balls with holes drilled out.

Orbitals- Floral wire and bent with pliers.

Spinning Mechanism- PVC piping, Lego rubber tires, and a Computer fan powered by a 5.2VDC adapter.

The fan is actually 12AC but I under voltaged because it would spin like crazy and chaotically. Approx. 1/2 the amount of Volts and RPM :)
The axis is horrible but it still works! :D.
