The Amiga's souped-up version of Defender and Drop Zone -- Datastorm!

Here's 4 consecutive Waves from my record score of over 2 million (retired!), as verified by Twin Galaxies. Played on an Amiga 1200.

i dug out my copy of this and it still works!! Anyway i've just been playing and god knows how but im now up to level 165 :s

**does any one know what level it goes up to or does it go on forever??** It keeps giving me too many lives....

@MrClaveen Presumably it goes on forever! If I remember right, after so many Waves (about 25?) it stops getting any harder. Btw, nice play!

This is my all-time favourite Amiga game. I've recently started playing it again on an A1200 :D

But wave 75+ ??! Im lucky if I can get past wave 12!

I too got this with my A500+ as part of a 10-pack of games...this was the "Cartoon Classics" bundle.

They just dont make decent games anymore; certainly none that come even close to Datastorm!

@horsie111 It better end at 200 lol! I wish it told you how many lives you have cos i could see if it's goin down cos if it's gonna go on forever i may be better off just switching it off =/

@horsie111 oh it gets harder! Just more stuff! The amount of eggs and blue things i get now is INSANE. But yeah most things have stopped getting harder. They should have like 4 UFOs and 3 skulls at the same time or something lol. Cos the problem is it now gives me so many bombs and lives that it replenishes the ones that i use up, cos there's so much stuff!

Wow, I had almost forgotton about the mass hours of my life that I dedicated (not wasted) to this game, as well as the 4 joysticks that I went through playing it! Although I was never all that good at it, but that's not the point! Thanks for the upload!!
