I am looking for the name of a contestant on the New Faces show. He sang
Anthem from the musical Chess around 1986-1988. He did not win. I think
his surname was Green. I think he had brown curly hair and was in his
30s.

I loved watching new faces,i was 9 when this episode was on the tv, i never missed it, the acts were great but the main thing for me was that scoreboard.
Id have loved to have been there to watch that light up.

Something about this makes me very nostalgic. Remember loving this is as a kid. Must be nice just to watch a show, enjoy it, then watch something else having enjoyed the experience. Now you have to know about it three monthsbefore hand, logon to the internet and have bile spouted by people behid computers and 'celebs' Tweeting to get some attention, analyse it to death, cause some controversy etc.
