  • Not really, oil leaks from the head gasket would normally be from the main oil pressure galley to the head and are not easy to stop without replacing the head gasket. Most of the engine oil sealers work by softening the oil seals.

  • The one used is a Taskmaster which is available from Partco they have a Car Parts shop in most large towns, Sealey and Snap On also make them, just search combustion leak tester

  • After a year of water leaks and many stories I put one of these on my BMW and found the worse. Only a head gasket was needed and all the other problems stopped.

  • is there a sealer for headgasket oil leaks 

  • mine was easy to do i took off the radiator cap and has visible exhaust coming out of the radiator popped off the head and the head gasket came off in three pieces
