This video is a tour of our new apartment - and a great example of what a house ends up looking like should two lion furs room together!

Ithabise my roommate has about 75% as much in his Lion King collection as I do, but he only brought one quarter of his stuff, while just about all of my 830+ TLK items had to be brought to the apartment and stuffed in my room/closet/drawers/bed somewhere or put elsewhere in the house, because my room was being renovated.

I began collecting TLK stuff in 2004, mostly from online auction sites. It's still my main hobby and something I'm quite proud of. While I believe I unofficially have the largest TLK collection in the United States (but definitely not the world), Part of my TLK collection was on display at the 2006 Western Washington (Puyallup) Fair and won a People's Choice Award.

Enjoy the tour!

  • I want to come and live with you!! I will bring my lioness suit and we will have a blast! what do you say?!

  • Haha, sounds great! :) I wanna see your suit! And great to hear from another Lion King fan. I'll be posting a new home tour video in the next few days from my new place so stay tuned for that.

  • omg this looks fantastic.

How many times have you seen the stage show

  • As of now I'm up to 13 total... thanks to the show just making it's return to Seattle (saw in four times here). The coolest part is that I've gotten to see the show in seven different cities with all different casts - Seattle, Portland, San Jose, Orlando, New York, Tempe (AZ) and Shanghai, China (last tour stop for Australian cast before the tour disbanded).

I plan to see it in Vegas at the Mandalay Bay eventually this summer after it opens :)

  • ur so lucky! where did u get all of that? ebay?

  • You got it! eBay is sooo evil... I got addicted for a while (obviously). I had 0 TLK items in my collection at the start of 2004, and I stopped collecting seriously in 2008, so I got almost everything in that four-year span. I'd say 80-85% of it is from ebay and the rest from Disney Stores, garage sales and thrift stores. It was pretty much - if it's Lion King and I don't have it, I'm buying it!
