Don't Let Go [Nick Jonas Love Story] Chapter 5

[Nick’s P.O.V.]

I picked Dana up the next morning for school. She roughly slammed the car door after she got in and stubbornly folded her arms over her chest.
“Still mad?” I asked, referring to the previous night. Yeah, I was an ass to Alison but I’m sick of her being around us. It’s kind of hard to get over a girl when you’re still around her 24-7. Dana sighed.
“I’m just disappointed in Alison. She’s my best friend... I can’t believe she’d try to take you away from me,” she mumbled. I took her hand in mine and rubbed the back of it with my thumbs.
“Yeah, I can’t believe her either. She just came right onto me, when you were sitting right beside us. Shocking really,” I lied. It felt bad to lie- alright, no it didn’t. I listened to Dana rant all the way to school and opened her door for her when we got there. Alison was talking with Joe... and she was laughing. So was Joe...

What’s so funny?

I walked past them with my arm around Dana as she death glared Alison, but she didn’t notice. Alison looked at me and I winked at her. Her smiled dropped into pissed-off look. We walked into the school and some girls started looking at me kind of funny. I furrowed my eyebrows as we walked through the hall, then my eyes set on pictures that happened to be taped to the wall... of me kissing random girls from our grade? I quickly took my arm off Dana and walked closer to the pictures.
“What the hell?” I asked myself. Dana gasped and looked at me.
“Nick, did you... cheat-”
“I did NOT cheat on you, Dana. I never kissed any of these girls!”
“Oh right, the pictures were just magically taken?” Her voice began to grow angry, and I started to become angry. I looked past Dana at all the people flooded in the hall, trying to figure out which of them would do this. These pictures had to be edited or something. I locked my eyes on the high school nerd: Nathan Douchebag... or whatever his last name was. He was a freaking computer genius. All these other kids were too stupid to know how to do that. I marched towards him, pushing some people out of the way, and pushed him into the lockers.
“What the hell, man? You edit those pictures on the wall?!”
“N-N-No... I d-didn’t, I s-swear!” He closed his eyes and trembled a little. I released his shirt and kicked the locker beside him. He flinched and gayly ran off. I turned around and Dana was gone. Whatever.

I met Tyler as I was walking down the hall and he held his hand up for a high-five. I ignored him and kept walking for the door. I walked outside and saw Alison and Joe still talking and laughing. I stomped up to them and got a disgusted look from Alison and a mad look from Joe.
“What did I do to you?” I asked Joe. He pointed his finger at me and got into my face.
“You know, we all know you still love Alison but you don’t have to be a complete ass-wipe to her JUST to hide the fact that you do,” he said. I looked at him like he was crazy, but he was actually kind of right...
“Me? Love her? Joe, I HAVE girlfriend who’s a lot better than she is... or ever will BE,” I raised my voice back at him. Alison scoffed.
“Excuse me?” I ignored her and kept my eyes on Joe. A smile spread across his face.
“Is that so?”
“Yeah, it is.”
“Then you don’t mind if I date her?” He stepped back and put his arm around Alison.
“Wait, what? You can’t date her!”
“Oh, I can’t? Because last time I checked, she was single,” he said with that smile still on his face, which was really getting on my nerves. I looked at Alison, shocked, and she just glared at me.
“Alison, you seriously wouldn’t date him, would you?”
“Maybe I will, maybe I won’t. Why does it matter so much to you, Nick?” She had me there. What was I supposed to say? There’s no way I’m letting MY girl date my... brother.

GUYSSS, go subscribe to AubreeLeighJonas. She’s going to start writing stories, and she’s an AMAAAAZING writer. She deleted her account a few months back because of stupid youtube bitches. I promise you guys, she’s an amazing writer.
