  • please compare a 7.62x51 FMJ and a 5.56 Greentip together. Would be intresting too see.

    great vid 5/5

  • Good vid

  • Fun lil test, thanks for posting!

  • Very nice comparison!

As for the earlier comments, fmj's will come apart when they impact a solid barrier just like the matchking or amax, they are all lead core projectiles with a copper jacket so they will all act the some against a HARD target! The 62 grain 5.56 penetrated because it is not a true lead core bullet, its a hardened steel core penetrater round designed to defeat barriers!

  • To bad all the rounds weren't FMJ like the 5.56. the results might have been a little different. Still a good test.

  • Great ballistics tests. Thanks for posting.

  • @bigbluesparky andreleger and tnoutdoors9 do great tests as well.

  • @fax701 He shot Ballistic Tip and Sierra Match King bullets. Those will destabilize and fragment in certain media. Had he fired a Full Metal Jacket bullet, it likely would have penetrated further with less disruption.

  • you are always the best to do the tests! pity that I'm Italian and I understand the little English. I thought that 7.62 was able to pass all three bins of water, can you tell me why?

  • You do the best real world penetration tests on U-Tube...keep up the good work !
