Probably one the best garage tunes ever made from a Florida artist and ex-Drifters & Ink Spots member!! This song was produced and written by Tommy James (Shondells) for Johnny Thunder.

  • I heard this song one time in my life, but it made such an impression I never forgot it. I even remember that I was taking my youngest sister to Brownie Scouts and it came on as I was leaving. Shortly after I was reading and interview with Bob Dylan in Rolling Stone and he was asked if he had heard any song lately that had impressed him. He replied "I'm Alive" by Johnny Thunder--"Never have I heard a song that expressed its title more emphatically." ....Or words to that effect. Thanks!
