Man I use to own a 5 speed one of these in a 4.3, thing embarrased the hell out of me. Has a real touchy ABS system. I saw this dood I had beef with due to my girlfriend, stomped the brakes turned the car off. Did my dirt in with the dood, went back to the truck and started it up....STUCK.. Wouldnt budge. man, took ten mintues and in the middle of the fucken road trying to figure it out. Taking the fuse out. Shutting it on and off. Peeling out going no where. I finally lightly tapped the brakes.

Yeah I remember when you wouldn't see grass all winter long, but last season we got that one huge storm in the beginning then was unbelievable mild the rest of the season.

I grew up on samuel street, even with 9 inches it still doesn't snow like it used too, but this was a fun storm
I want to get a Zr2 and see what it like to go off roading.. All I have is a 1999 S10 rear wheel drive.. I mean it does great in the snow if i have weight in the bed of the truck and have snow tires on the back..

@Makoy155 I used to have a 4cyl 2wd S10 before this ZR2 s10.
I put some BFG all terrians on it and it did OK as long as I didn't intentionally drive through deep snow. Although I did that a lot anyway.

if it's a ZR2 no problem ;) This truck was driving through this with cheap street tires on. Just had to use 4x4 starting from a dead stop a lot, just don't drive down the road in 4x4, it's really hard on your transfer case, and if its dry enough will ruin your 4x4. And be safe, 4x4 doesn't mean you STOP faster than any other car.

no its a dodge ram 1500 reg cab 2x4. wen i pay it off im gonna get a 2500 4x4 so i dont have to worry about getting stuck quite as much.

No, once you get 4x4, you'll get stuck a lot more than a 2x4 rig. lol, weird but true!
I didn't get stuck nearly as much with my old 2wd truck, then I got 4x4 and every time I see a snow drift I go for it. :)
