@billofbrewster a single exhaust has more potential for lower end, however if the diameter of the piping is slightly bigger than stock it changes the power tuning all over again, it starts becoming flow engineering and a crash course in aerodynamics and such is required. dont listen to 'everyone'- they are all 'stupid'

Thats my bike in the video, it a race only bike and not exactly stock. Made 148-149 rwhp at 11,000RPM on three dynos. We built the exhaust with larger head pipes for this specific build. You are correct, a 2 in to 2 is the way to go for a stock RC51.

@billofbrewster.........if Honda/HRC and Akrapovic couldn't make a single pipe to work I think its a safe bet to say it's not BS. I did read a few years back that Akrapovic made over 50 different exhausts for the Castrol Honda world superbike team before they were completely happy....and that was with two pipes :)

any update on this RC? Everyone keeps telling me a single pipe won't make power on an RC....I keep hoping it's BS cause I like the look better with a single pipe and it's got to be at least 5 lbs lost.
