Somebody told me that the full North Mississippi Allstars band was supposed to play that night, but half the band didn't show up. I thought they were phenominal just as the duo! And the acoustics of the building are phenominal! If you remember, they exited with "Glory Glory Hallelujah" and when he walked off stage as he was singing the song, you could still hear him. They left me wanting more! Just a fantastic show! Perfect lineup!

The NMA Duo was really the ideal opener for Robert Plant, and he said so. "The Dickinson boys! Are they spectacular or what?"
I just posted a video on my channel of Robert's quote, complete with back-to-back footage of Cody Dickinson on electric washboard and then Robert Plant playing washboard on Central Two-O-Nine.

What a "Surprise Treat" to have Luther and Cody perform.
They are both part of the Noth Mississippi Allstars blues band.
and yes Luther now is part of the Black Crowesas well.
They're gifted muscians and If they keep their heads on straight
they will be a musical force as long as they want.

@larintz I loved those dudes! I think they introduced themselves by saying, "Umm, we just met." :) They kinda had this "street-corner with a tin cup" look, and I totally loved the drummer's smile! The guitarist has played for the Black Crowes before. I'd go see them again anywhere.
