UKTV relaunches UKTV Documentary as Eden.

Lush, evocative and inspiring - the Eden website will be a destination site for both young and old adventurers who want to find out what events are taking place around the world. But not just any events - the very best the world has to offer, right here, right now. For example; what time of year is best to see the Northern Lights? What month and where is it best to swim with dolphins, etc.

Tom Hall (Lonely Planet) has been commissioned to write the 52 short articles and each place he chooses will evoke the channel brand of get your daily shot of astonishment. With this in mind the site will to be highly visual and beautiful. It will allow users to upload images, create galleries and make blog style comments all the content on the website.

Using Yahoo Maps, each event, festival and inspiring destination will be pin pointed onto a global map. Other pinpoint references will include; latest comments, photos (and/or galleries).
