WELLINGTON, ON - Prince Edward County is getting rid of its trash. Residents are putting unwanted goods at the side of the road today for eagre new owners to take for free. Wellington ward councillor, Peter Mertens, says it was a success when he worked in another municipality and he wanted to try the event here. He says goods otherwise headed for the dump are often given reincarnation in a Curbside Treasures event. Curbside Treasures 2008 is an all-day event throughout Prince Edward County. Produced by Jennifer Lester in April 2008 for the Loyalist College.
