This is a series of conversations between Commander Shepard and Liara T'Soni. It ends with the love scene which is pretty tasteful so there is nothing to be offended about.

If I romance liara does that mess up my chances with tali in ME2

@klampcamper Nope. You can romance Tali in ME2 if you want. That's what I did (and I posted a video of it) until Lair of the Shadow Broker came out.

Liara is one of the few likable Asari. I dislike the Asari becuase they don't really seem to contribute much to galactic society other then shaking there asses, and drinking and dancing in clubs for hundreds of years. I don't find them all that atractive, the turians, and drell are much more attractive.

I love the Mass Effect series, but Liara has a pretty bland and emotionless voice.

sorry but some of these scences, like 3:00, I'm used to hearing in some dramatic confession of love in dramas. But Shepard and Liara have little to no emotion when saying them. It just doesnt sound like they mean it... :/

i replayed through the series for the 4th time to go with Liara through the entire series (ME1 and ME2) as of any of the female roles, she obviously has the deepest love and connection to Shepard. From her starting out as a "young" Asari nerd scientist digging in the dirt to becoming *SPOILER* the biggest information broker in the galaxy and a hard ass, the lengths to which she went to recover and bring Shepard back,defying the galaxy, is much better story-wise than any of the other leads.

@klampcamper No, buuuut you can't break up with Liara in ME2 and your decisions about romance will affect your ME3 story. How much impact it will have, we still don't know, but based on the Shadow Broker exchange, I imagine Bioware has got some emotional material for us either way.
