I drilled out the wall of the baffle on my V Star 1300, it has a much nicer tone now. I recommend listening to this video with headphones so the audio comes through better. Big props to RAM4X4MAN for publishing this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTl6BWYJVLs. Watching that vid gave me the balls to go through with it. :)

  • Thank you for showing us this video. You inspired me to do the same thing to my 2007 V-Star 1300. The piece of the Baffle got stuck in the pipe and I had to fish it out. It was partially in and I noticed the sound being different just a little bit. I check the pipe with a flash-light and saw the baffle piece stuck. Once I got it out!!! Wow. Great Sound. It's was better than I expected. Thanks for the video...

  • @tparlin Thanks..

  • Sounds not too bad actually... better than stock. I just bought me a 1300 and would like to do the same. What did you use and how easy or difficult is to do if you are not that handy.
