Here are a few personal family clips staring Baby Peyson over the past 2 weeks :) She is becoming more alert as the days pass so currently it's a big treat for the whole family to see her eyelids opened! ha

ALL THREE CHILDREN ARE REAR FACING :) These are Sunshine Kids Radian XT SL car seats-Flora, Petal, Bently are the fabric styles. This seat for Peyson is safer than any new infant car seat carrier we have. The main feature of an infant car seat carrier is how it's removable & that feature for us is pointless anyways so we just don't use one. We don't leave our baby's in car seats as we babywear so she is constantly on my chest or in my arms..even when we go out to eat. That also means we don't use strollers w/ her as I prefer her to be on my chest. I find it easier this way since we breastfeed anyways. I prefer this seat over other convertible seats as it is designed for extended rear facing :) As for my toddlers no their legs don't bother them as they have never complained. They either cross their legs, hang them over the side and/or even prop them upwards on the seat in front of them. Remember in a crash broken legs can be repaired but a broken spine/neck may not! The new safety suggestions are to keep children remaining rear facing beyond the age of 1, a minimum of 2 years until the they meet the safety requirements of their particular seat in the rear facing position which vary from seat to seat so make sure you check your own guidelines.

  • In Australia the baby seat has to sit backwards and tilted laying down slighty until the baby is 6 months old. Obviously its different there.

  • @Shereezy87 Yes we're encouraged to leave them rear facing for a minimum of 2 years.

  • is Jacelyn's carseat a different model than Kacen and Peyson's? I ask bc it looks shorter than the other 2. It is so cute the way the love on Peyson so much. They are all so adorable :)

  • @BooBear6607 Nope...all the same seat & size. it's how it's installed (& the seat in the middle goes up a little higher I think so Peysons is a little taller)

  • @AvysMomma and Lucy - I joke about the fact that our daughter was born at 9:31 p.m. and by 9:32, daddy was wrapped around her finger! LOL

  • @mrsmnifer77 haha I'm surprised he made it to 9:32

  • True, very true! :-) The best part was with my FIL...we didn't know the sex of the baby and while I was pregnant, he was convinced it was going to be a boy. He got to see her the night that she was born and now, she definitely has her grandpa wrapped around her finger! Both grandpas, actually. It's a beautiful sight to see, because I had the same relationship with my grandpa!

  • @TheMissJess13 She has pretty dark skin...I have a LOT of Indian in my my family. I'm pretty sure I'm the whitest of my entire family, i'm like the ghost compared to the rest so perhaps it's that? Jacelyn was the same when she was a baby...lots of people thought she was half Hispanic, between the dark skin hair.

  • Is it just me or the lighting but does Peyson have quite olive toned skin?
