Board your bus for a ride through the Tlingit village of Hoonah en route to your departure site high in the mountains of Chicagof Island. Experience the majesty amidst the mountains.

Experience the wild lands of Chichagof Island first-hand when you embark on your rugged adventure on the ATV Expedition. Board a bus for a guided tour through the Tlingit village of Hoonah en route to your departure site high in the surrounding hills. Once there and after a safety briefing, join your local guides as you board your 4x4 Kawasaki Mule for a rugged ride through the forest, with stops to take in valley, mountain and ocean views. Licensed drivers will have opportunities to switch driving responsibilities. After the drive, catch up with your bus for a ride up to the 1400' ZipRider launching tower. Descend at speeds up to 60 mph, soaring 300' above the tree-tops to the Landing Zone on the beach.
Participants must be at least 10 years old, between 90 and 275 pounds and be comfortable with heights. All ATV drivers must present a valid driver's license. The ATV portion is a remote trail experience, and the ride will be bumpy. The ZipRider landing can be somewhat abrupt. This tour is not recommended for those guests with back or neck problems or pregnant women.
