Just beautiful ... Teresa Stratas looks like the Madonna here, and she would do literally anything for her child, who in her eyes is no different from the Messiah. What a perfect piece of music.

Thanks for the vids. My brother and I used to do lines from this famous show all the time. We saw this live at the Duke Ellington School in DC. A wonderful buch of talent. The audience loved the performance - especially when Amahl said "there are three kings outside - and all of them are black."
