First Level Freestyle

My first level freestyle in June 2007 that I choreographed and created on my own (with the help of some friends). It was my first time making a freestyle and this was the first time I rode it at a show.

I am riding my 1993 17 hand shire/TB gelding, Ireland's Lucky Lad (aka MIckey). This was his last season showing and he is happily retired now.

Like your music. How did you put it all together? Where did you look for music? I am going to put together a few freestyle for this next season but am having a hard time finding music. Any Tips?

@Briters275 Thanks. My college roommate actually found this music for me. When looking for freestyle music I usually just search for instrumental versions of the songs that I want. You can usually find free downloads of instrumental music online. Here is a good website with ideas for songs equimusic. com. Do you have a metronome? I always try to find the tempo of my horse's gaits before I try to find music, then you can enter it into that website to find music to match.

@Briters275 Also, I had a friend edit the music for me on music editing software. But, I think you can download editing software from online as well. You don't need anything too fancy, as long as you can fade your transitions and slightly modify the tempo with it. There are also some companies who can edit music for you for a pretty low price if you already know which segments of music you want strung together. Hope this helps a little.
