  • Jim Allister sitting beside Hannan proves my point about Hannan. He's a fascist. Oh yea, Allister has since lost his seat in the European Parliament as the voters of Ulster also thought he was a fascist and bigoted scumbag. Also to the rest of you morons.Deprivation is caused by ideology. That's why most of the world goes hungry thanks to right wing capitalists like Hannon.

  • Is that Jim Allister beside him?

  • @matrix4022 Yeah because that's likely isn't it. What you don't seem to understand is that the 'native Irish' are as mixed as any other race, that Scots, English, Welsh have been going back and forward for centuries and that Ulster was never part of any united Ireland. It's a silly dream and the home rule bill hurt Ireland in the long term and did nothing but make Ireland a weak European nation. I'd welcome Ireland back into the UK in a heartbeat.

  • N. Ireland is a prime example of the dangers of mass immigration. Scots/English settlers were sent to Ireland to colonialize the island, they settled in the north (which was were most of the rebellion to British rule came from) and now we have the decendants of those Scottish and English planters claiming to be British and the Native Irish claiming that they are Irish. Give the Irish ppl their country back and let the English/Scots decendants celebrate their culture in a free, united Ireland.

  • I'm currently IN Ulster & the problems aren't caused by deprivation. Not saying there is no deprivation or that the idiots perpetuating this may not be "deprived" but in reality, they're spoiled babies who want everything their way and don't care who gets hurt. Ulster doesn't need more money, they need to get over their entitlement issues on BOTH sides and quit hating each other. Not simple, but rather obvious.

  • actually it's frequently caused by foreign money--as in the case of Palestine, which would long since have improved its lot instead of breeding and grievance-mongering while living on the rest of the world's handouts.

How about North Korea? If the rest of the world didn't pay to feed that population, their government would long since have collapsed and not be threatening us with nuclear missiles.

Paying bad guys doesn't make them good. It makes them worse.
