I can't believe "Weekend At Bernies 4: Let's Get This Party Started" was snubbed!!! Jonathan Silverman was a tour de force and Andrew McCarthy was riveting. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. The Academy should be ashamed of themselves.

Milk? You've got to be kidding. If the Academy won't let Brokeback Mountain win Best Picture, why would you think Milk would have a chance? (Unless the Academy will let it win to make up for their mistake).
I'm going Slumdog Millionaire Best Picture, and I saw Gran Torino yesterday and yes, my friend, it was outstanding. Should be up there at least for best song, best actor Clint Eastwood, and best original screenplay. Not Best Picture though....

That is why I said I was going for an underdog by picking Milk. If it did win, it would be quite a surprise. Totally agree with you for Gran Torino.

HAHAHAHAHA! I loved Mickey Rourke's mug shot and the picture when you mention "Milk". And your tuxedo jacket added a little classiness to the video.
You were right about Gran Torino getting snubbed but I also thought Leo got snubbed for Revolutionary Road. In the trailer he's screaming just as loud as Kate Winslet so that means he MUST have been good........right?
I think Fincher will win best director though. I thought Slumdog was kinda overrated.

Yeah you could be right, Fincher could win, although I doubt they give Best Picture to Slumdog like the Globes did, so I imagine they give it either Best Director, or Best Adapted Screenplay and save best picture for maybe Benjamin Button, which was definitely not the best Movie of the year!
Leo was definitely a snub, he can be a depressed businessman who yells and smashes things with the best of them!
