I'll tell you which version is way better. The original colombian soap opera "Yo Soy Betty, La Fea" and not because it is the original, but because it is literally the best one. The acting is the best, the characters are the best, and the story is original.

Yo Soy, Betty La Fea (Original Colombian Version)

I Love Betty La Fea (philippine version)

La Fea Mas Bella (Mexican Version, they started off good, but after her transformation, they got out of line and started to make it into a horrible over-lengthed, show that at one point got to my nerves)

Ugly Betty (American Version)

@ximei29 so the philippines, at least re-created the story, and changed things up a bit , but at least it still gives you the same message as the colombian version.

I prefer the original Colombian version out of all and I think Ana Maria Orozco is the most beautiful Betty, but in this case the battle is between the Bea Alonzo and America Ferrera, I go with Bea, she is much more pretty and talented than America Ferrera and she is not fat, nor does she act like shes all that.

@ximei29 and on top of that Daniel who is the hunk in the American version, well first of all Daniel was the enemy in the original Colombian version, 2nd of all betty's dad is nice in the American version and her mom says a lot of bad words and is a really naughty lady, and she has a gay brother, where as in the original Betty's dad was strict, and her mom was very nice and sweet, and she had no brothers or sisters, that's what Nicolas was for. 2nd of all what happened to el cuartel de las feas.

@ximei29 hey man calm down, lets just talk it out, I agree with you the philippines, did a much better job, they actually remade the columbian series without, making it an exact copy, but it still kept intact with the storyline, which really was interesting, on the other hand the American version is trash, no character is related with the original colombian betty, the only character that appeared in the columbian that also appeared in the U.S. version was betty thats all.
