Mariah's POV
"I didn't fight, why am I here?" I asked quietly.
"Because Ms. James, it seems that you caused this," Mr. Morgan said.
"Me?" I said and looked at Justin then Diggy and slumped down in the chair.
"So, Mr. Combs, Mr. Simmons, either or you want to explain? Or I'll just give you all the detentions," Mr. Morgan said.
I didn't want a detention! They better say something!
Justin cleared his throat and started, "Mr. Morgan, it wasn't anything major. I just got mad about a situation and that had to do with Diggy," he said and looked at him. "And after that situation, Diggy decided to make it even worse! So, therefore, I walked up on him and shoved him like twice. And he shoved me once. Then our friends came and broke it up. However, I wasn't gonna punch him in the face or nothing." Justin finished and sat up, placing his hands in his lap.
I never understood why guys liked to have there hands by their crouches.
"Is this what happened, Mr. Simmons?" Mr. Morgan asked.
Diggy nodded, "Yes sir, "he sucked his lip over the other one, "Nothing major."
"Alright, I'll just give you two an after school detention, for a Class I behavior." he said handing them slips.
"And for you miss," he said and handing me one.
I gasps, "What did I do?" I asked as I took the slip.
"PDA in the hallway, ma'am." Mr. Morgan said.
I kept mouth open, then closed it. "Okay."
"Today after school." Mr. Morgan said.
"We got football practice!" Justin said.
"And sir, I have to get my siblings for school." I said.
"And do you have an excuse to, Mr. Simmons?" Mr. Morgan asked.
"Football." Diggy said.
"Then all of you have detention tomorrow. Tell your coach, and make sure you come. Now get to class." Mr. Morgan said.
We all walked out the office. Damn it! My mom is gonna be pissed. "Ugh!" I said with a heavy sigh as I crumpled the piece of paper.
Diggy and Justin looked at me. "You aight?" They both asked.
"Mmhmm." I nodded. I felt tears rush to my eyes, but I did my best to hold them back. I was already grounded and now I have detention. I've never even had a detention in my life. And now I'm gonna be in bunch of trouble. Ugh! Who saw this PDA shit in the hallway anyway? I put the sleeves of Justin's jacket on my face and dried my eyes.
Justin turned around from walking with Diggy and looked at me. Ah! I dont know what he was doing. He just stopped and stared me, like he was trying to figure out something.
"Stop looking at me." I said and walked past him. "Stop it." I said and walked off to class. I must be so ugly, and I cry all the time on top of that. Crying makes my face pink, and my eyes puffed and red. Gosh. I couldn't possibly be pretty.
