i often wonder what the ppl who died in ww2 would think of england nowadays,i bet winny would kick the crap out of gordon brown.how brave were those ppl who got bombed and came up and proudly asked for more thats the true bulldog spirit and it makes me proud to be british.god bless the heroes of both world wars and the ppl who told hitler to go piss himself.

This documentary says a great deal about the character of the British people.

The British seem so mild mannered, and yet, even though they were poorly prepared at the beginning, they were able to out produce the Germans in number of airplanes and munitions, they were able to out think them by breaking German codes, using radar and better fighting tactics, and they were able to out fight a more experienced air force who had more airplanes, and a very determined air force at that!

How's this for irony ? I just put up blackout curtains in my front window in order to get some peace from drunken yobs at weekends. Have baseball bat and am not fearful but the cops told me not to threaten anyone, not even those who'd think nothing of kicking in a front door costing hundreds of pounds to replace.

Most of us who were born after WW II, Korea & Vietnam wars have forgotten the sacrifices of what it truely means to be Free. Freedom comes with the price of blood and as always freedom is not free unless your willing to pay the ultimate price to achieve it. God Bless our Armed Forces, Airmen & Marines.
