Kid on the Mountain - Slip Jig on Clarke Sweetone D Tin Whistle

Kid on the Mountain (Slip Jig) - one of my favourite tunes on the tin whistle! Played on a Clarke Sweetone D. I'm not too happy with my timing, breathing and clearness there, but it's always the same... As soon as I turn on the cam, my whistling skills are reduced :D

Hey man, great sound! I've been playing the whistle on and off for three years and never took the time to get the sheet music (although I can read music). Instead I've been playing by ear and just memorizing a bunch of trad. tunes (like this one). I like the act of playing by ear, feels really natural, but would you recommend using sheet music?

@IsokeIsobe Hey, thanks! Playing by ear is the traditional way, so I'd of course recommend that! But sheet music can be really helpful at times. It shows the structure of the tune without most ornamentation, so it's perfect when a certain part of a tune from a audio rec or video just won't reveal its secrets to you...
