Was part of Barkha Dutt's 'We the People' aired on NDTV 24x7 on sunday night, I had cornered KCR's son about, Why his Dad didnot try to get development into the Telangana region when he was a Cabinet Minister other than asking for a Separate telangana.. he said that ,that was the slogan he got elected on .. to get separate Telangana!

Barkha pulled the mike off my hands :(

Later part which you cant hear & I was arguing was:

I asked... he could have brought in so many projects & progress for Telangana but didnt all he wanted was another state!

He had all the opportunity in the world to bring development to the region but instead wanted a separate state for what??

[ he didnt have an answer for that! ]

Conclusion:

Wasnt the separate state he was asking for to see that they had progress.. or maybe to carve out a fiefdom for himself to rule !!

you decide what he wanted another state for if development wasnt the criteria !

Due to this posture by KCR, Telangana has lost development opportunities for the Last SIX YEARS, when the Economy was Booming !!!

  • Secondly, I wld say the reasons which made brilliant T ministers (the then PV to todays Jaipal) in parliament not do anything in the past five decades to T wld be the same reasons for KCR not be able to do much to T which gives me the insight that its not the question of 'being able to do' but 'not being let to do'.

Any rational and critical comments from the video poster are welcomed.

  • Firstly, I wonder if the debate was about TRS or T. TRS is a decade old party, but T demand, five decades old. I wldnt go with mixing T demand with TRS even in the context of present on-going agitation.

  • yey! gud point! :) screw TRS!

  • very good. But ask Barkha bring weak politician Dewakar Reddy to represent United Andhra. I am pained to see there is no that side of view and people (national viewers) did not undertstand the real sentiments of people who support United Andhra.
