I somehow think this isn't a "how to". It is more of a "I got it working". As there are no instructions, walkthrough nor tutorials. You do mention you went to openkinect and got it working, thats all. Congrats though! Killer technology eh?!

@KeiferReefer Somehow I think you're very correct. It was a vain, cynical and comedic attempt to attract more click thru traffic to what is a very average video of me utilising someone else's hard work to produce an averagely weird music video of myself and my girlfriend looking at unusual optical reflections of ourselves on my laptop. Kinect is brilliant. I big up the work done by the open source community in developing some highly stimulating offerings for the product. I also like LCD much.
