Kirk is put under pressure by the expectations of several people-- Pike, Spock, McCoy, even Starfleet itself-- but in the end, all of it, especially the hard part, is what makes him a better human being.

Song: "Whataya Want From Me" - Adam Lambert
Footage: Star Trek 2009 - (C) Paramount Pictures
Made With: Windows Movie Maker
Disclaimer: I don't own the song, the movie, or any of the actors. All I own is my ideas. Everything else belongs to their owners, and I am just borrowing them for my own entertainment. Blah blah blah. Does anyone actually read these things?

  • *Drools uncontrole abley* KIRK!

  • I know that William Shatner will always be the Prime Kirk, but I for one love to watch both roles, and think about who Kirk is in both worlds (the movie and TOS are in alternate universes). And that's when I realize what reinterpreting Kirk did for the general public, those who only know "Star Trek" as an "old stereotype." It allowed them to see Trek with fresh eyes. For once, there's no stereotype, no sarcasm - they got to meet Kirk and see for themselves why we always knew he was a badass!
