i saw this movie for the first this evening actually, and i gotta say i liked it for the most part. but this death was very stupid, i was excepting him to get eaten by the sharks or something. would have been way more badass. oh well

@hugodrax71 Guy Hamilton is a hack as far as I'm concerned. Goldfinger is overrated as shit, and the other films he did are Americanized to fuck! Not to mention silly.
Terrence Young and Martin Campbell are where it's at. John Glen was good too, and Lewis Gilbert must be admired for the sheer spectacle of his movies.

@tcvicesquad Terence Young laid down the Bond blueprint and his films are fantastic...but Peter Hunt gets my vote...he did a terrific job with OHMSS, for me the best film of the series...it's pure class

@hugodrax71 I'm disappointed that Peter Hunt didn't go on to do more. OHMSS has aged the best out of the entire series, just a fantastic film visually and all round.
