there is no best combo, its just whichever combo u like to use. All combos have their advantages and disadvantages. My personl favorite is the combo i have here, that of Elegost, Berethor, and Idrial. But like i said, its comnpletely up to u and whichever combo u like best.

how to win a battle 99% surely:

Use idrial, and use aura of the valar or something...pretty much when you die, you get resurrected, and you get a turn! If you die, use frenzy, aura, and aura on berethor or moren or whoever, lol... then you have basically won

my combo is the same as you just i use Morwen but not Elegost

i never heal i just fight and wen i die then i use elf medisine

I personally thought Legolas was pretty queer in this game. Didnt even have a single arrow attack, and that was his specialty. Just one of the things i didnt agree with about this game, but i still love the game as a whole.
