SJ: Dnyaneshwari was finished in 1290 (and not 1295). Its final stanza clearly states that. At that time, Dnyaneshwar was either 16 or 20. Reading between the lines, somewhere in 1293, the brahmins condescended to accept the 4 siblings back in society only if they lived the life of a jogwa!! The siblings probably did accept this humiliation. Dnyaneshwar took samadhi in 1295, and not too soon enough, IMO. His philosophy is the same as Adi Shankaracharya's but poetry is surpassingly great.

Thanks SJ. I don't know if it is possible for any viewer to upload casette called 'Mogara Phulala' by Alurkar, Pune. That cassette has commentary by Prof Ram Shevalkar and songs by Mangeshkars. The command of Mr. Shevalkar on marathi & his knowledge of Dynaneshwari gives you unforgettable experience, especially for Pasaydan & Pandurang Kanti. I had that casette but we played it so many times that it developed problems & I can't listen now. The casette is not available in the market as well.
