  • they may have done this same skit on the Jack Benny Show, but this particular one was from Good News of 1938 - Episode 16...in fact, i have the entire episode uploaded on my otr channel...my screen name is OTRNut if you want to hear it

  • "Schlepperman" [:43] was a supporting character on Jack's program at the time, played with a Yiddish accent by Sam Hearn. His famous opening remark- "Hello, stranger!".

  • This is from "GOOD NEWS OF 1938"; Fanny didn't appear on Jack's "JELL-O PROGRAM" during the 1937-'38 season.
