Every time the town fire siren goes off, these wolves start to howl. Extremely mesmerizing.

poor wolves i can stand when ppl put them in cages i mean like i dont mind it if the humans r like helping them healing them but i do mind is if ppl r putting them in cages just to take them far away from home? LET THEM BE FREE! srry 4 the caps

this is a preserve, not a zoo..theyre helping the wolves survive..these wolves wouldve been hunted n killed, or wouldve died of starvation if they werent kept here..they arent in cages, we are in the cage..they come to the fences to be fed, they have many acres of woods in the background to be free..they even build their own dens in the woods..people laugh because it sounds funny when youre there..they arent laughing at the wolves, most people stood in silent amazement..hope this clears this up

@bluecollarcanuck The wolves are not imprisoned, they roam free in the preserve. The preserve is the only part of New Jersey that isn't built, letting them "free" would confine them to the NY metro area, outside the preserve boundary, you'd be damning them.

@BlackHeart121000 We put them in the cages in north Jersey as an experiment, the NJ government wanted to see if the elevated concentrations of air pollutants from cars and factories in the area effected growth and lung function of wolves. They usually will select "lots" of wolves in each age group to then euthanize, cut open and analyze. You should feel good, these wolves are going to provide useful medical knowledge for humans

I love wolves and it breaks my heart when people put them in cages or hunt them, i mean like why the hell are you doing this they dont hurt anyone (all tho they do kill humans for reasons) Ugh...

@nefredil You must not read the news. The reason these wolves are quarantined is because New Jersey has a huge illegal Mexican/Guatamalan population. These illegal people go on monthly killing sprees killing every wolf in sight to sell their fur and blood to the Caribbean, and law enforcement cannot stop them because they will be accused of racial profiling. If it weren't for these cages, there would be no wolves left in New Jersey because of the illegals. Thank God we saved these wolves!

@jsthnk it is in wolfs nature to be FREE, and roaming in the WILD! It is not in their nature to live in quarantine! FOR PITTY's SAKE! Wolfes have survived for thousand of years with even more dangerous predators! And the law at least what i heard in USA is extremely rigid!
